The hardest part about being in school is missing the kid's activities. I was able to go to the first part of Danielle's first game but had to leave becuase I had to go to school. The score at the end of the inning was 10-10. They switch batting at 10. I texted John during class to find out how it turned out and I recieved this text from John
"Danielle hit the ball with two on base trailing 15-13. The second baseman over threw the first base man. Danielle ran to third as the other two scored. She passed third and went half way home challenging the catcher to throw it. The catcher finally threw it and Danielle ran home to score the winning run."
I asked if she pitched and she replied that "I came in the middle of the second inning I tagged a girl out at home and struck another out."
Sorry I missed it Danielle. Way to go. I'll be there Wednesday!

She did a great job! Her last at bat was the best part of the game. Funniest thing...the coach is yelling GO (she's playing chicken with the Catcher) and John is yelling to get back on 3rd..she went for it and scored the winning run. I'm glad you got to stay for part of it!!
